Anthony “Amp” Harrell was bitten by the radio bug early, and had his first radio job before he got his driver license. For over a decade “The Man Called Amp” has dedicated himself to the art of radio, working for WGNS, WMOT, and WDKN. However, in his spare time Harrell enjoys watching sports, listening to local music, and watching sitcoms and cooking shows. If you were to find him in Nashville and he wasn’t on a sales call, he would likely be on his way to a Titans or Preds game or a show at TPAC. Harrell has settled into a nice apartment life, but he visits his mother and his adopted stray cat Kitty on a regular basis. You can hear him (the DJ, not the cat) daily on the Midday Music Marathons, as well as Dickson Middle School and Creek Wood High School sports broadcasts.
